Hello! My name is Sofía Valcárcel and I am a Data Analyst specializing in Digital Marketing and Sales. After working for several years in analytical and executive roles related to these two areas, I decided to go to the next level.
For this reason, I started to learn more about Python, SQL, Statistics, and Data Visualization. My goal was to learn how to manage complex databases and transform them to extract insights. Some of the tools and libraries that I have used on this journey are Numpy, Pandas, Seaborn, Power BI, Google Big Query, and Excel.
In my scope, I define myself as highly proactive with a problem-solving mind. Curiosity about everything & ability to innovate. I have a positive can-do attitude, always bearing in mind the smallest details.
WHAT'S NEXT?
After more than two years of working as a Data Analyst, I have decided to start my journey to become a Data Scientist. My main goal is to share with you all my learnings, experiences, and opinions so I can help others that are in my shoes.
I understand that pivoting from another scope to data can be challenging. That’s why I have opened this website. I want you to overcome the difficulties that I will encounter on my journey to Data Science.
